The Best Practices Committee focuses on efforts to identify those Best Practices that are appropriate for each stakeholder group, gauge current levels of implementation and use of those Best Practices, and encourage and promote increased implementation of the Best Practices. On an ongoing basis, the Committee also considers adding to the Best Practices to incorporate new developments in damage prevention processes, procedures, practices, and technology.
